There are numerous general benefits available to JECC personnel as members of the military. JECC personnel travel around the world in support of joint force operations, with the knowledge that they are serving their nation proudly.

Active Duty

Reservists/Guardsmen

National Guard and Reserve refers to members of the Army National Guard, Army Reserve, Navy Reserve, Marine Corps Reserve, Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve and U.S. Coast Guard Reserve. Members of the National Guard and Reserve (NGR) and their family members are eligible for different TRICARE benefits depending on their status.

Civilian

The Government Retirement & Benefits (GRB) Platform is an automated tool designed to provide employees with 24-hour access to manage personal benefits and general information about government-wide benefits. Information on benefit programs such as Federal Employee Health Benefits (FEHB), Federal Employee Group Life Insurance (FEGLI), Thrift Savings Plan (TSP), Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS), and Federal Employee Retirement System (FERS). It also includes info on benefits offered under BENEFEDS, such as dental, vision and long-term care insurance, as well as Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for medical and childcare expenses.

Within GRB, employees can review current benefits coverage, make benefit elections during Open Season or due to a qualifying life event, obtain or request various retirement estimates, input and print retirement applications, and much more.

The next Federal Benefits Open Season begins in November 2024. During this period, you have the opportunity to enroll, change plans or plan options, change enrollment type, or cancel enrollment for the Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) Program and the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP). You also have the opportunity to re-enroll or newly enroll in the Federal Flexible Spending Account (FSAFEDS) Program.

Furthermore, by joining JECC, you will be eligible to receive the following benefits.
