Air Force Maj. Jennifer Ferrau, Paul Noel and Tom Mullican, Joint Public Affairs Support Element (JPASE) members, work together to setup the satellite antenna to the Defense Video and Imagery Distribution System (DVIDS). The JPASE team deployed to the New York area in support of Hurricane Sandy relief.

In parallel with the Joint Enabling Capabilities Command’s (JECC) quarterly held Mission Readiness Exercise (MRX), U.S. Air Force Gen. Darrel McDew, the Commander, U.S. Transportation Command, spoke with eight staff members from the Florida congressional delegation to demonstrate the mission-critical capabilities the JECC brings to a full range of real-world missions. During the MRX, the distinguished visitors saw firsthand how the JECC can rapidly standup a joint force headquarters and bridge joint operational requirements.

U.S. Army Lt. Col. Dameion Logan (front), a member of the Joint Enabling Capabilities Command Joint Planning Support Element (JPSE), conducts business during U.S. Southern Command’s exercise Integrated Advance 2015 (IA-15). Various members of JPSE assumed critical positions on the Joint Task Force – Migrant Operations staff in the areas of operations, plans, logistics and knowledge management, while supporting IA-15 from Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

On May 15, approximately 50 personnel from the Joint Enabling Capabilities Command (JECC) Army Reserve Element (ARE) file onboard the USS George H.W. Bush (CVN-77) during their tour of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier at Naval Station Norfolk, Va. Following the unique tour, the JECC ARE personnel have a better understanding of the Service-specific capabilities the U.S. Navy brings to joint operational requirements.

U.S. Army Capt. Angela Erale, public affairs officer, 24th Press Camp Headquarters, prepares U.S. Army Col. Michael Scholes, director of operations, Joint Task Force - Civil Support (JTF-CS), for a press conference during Sudden Response 2014 (SR 14). Members of the Joint Enabling Capabilities Command’s Joint Public Affairs Support Element also prepared senior leaders for media engagements during SR 14 by developing talking points. SR 14 tested and validated the unit’s movement of equipment and personnel during the initial phases of a simulated man-made or natural disaster.
